Information You Submit

    • Job Applications: If you submit a resume, job application, or related materials or other information to us, we may use that information to evaluate your qualifications and consider or respond to your inquiry or application. Your submission of a resume, job application, or related information does not in any way require PeopleWorks to review that information or consider you for employment.

    • Contact Form: To contact us for more information, inquire about our services, or request support via the Website, you will need to provide your contact information (as discussed under “Personal Information” above) as applicable, including details of the services you are interested in, the company you work for, and the subject matter in which you are interested.

    • Marketing Communications: If you sign up or otherwise provide your email address to us, we will use this information to send you updates about PeopleWorks via promotional and other electronic communications. You may opt out of receiving updates and other emails from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the applicable email or by contacting us using the contact information provided.     • With Communication Providers (Text Messaging): If you opt in to receive text messages (including SMS), we may use your phone number to send marketing messages or service-related updates. You may opt out of receiving marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Please note, opting out of marketing messages will not affect your ability to receive important administrative or transactional communications. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.

    • With Governmental or Legal Authorities: We may use and share Collected Information as required or permitted in accordance with subpoenas, court orders, valid law enforcement requests, governmental agency requests, and other legal processes. We may use Collected Information if we believe doing so is necessary or appropriate to protect our rights or the rights of others.

    • In Connection with a Business Transaction: If PeopleWorks is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction, Collected Information may be transferred as part of that transaction. PeopleWorks is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third parties or any third-party websites, applications, or services. This Privacy Notice does not apply to any third-party websites, applications, or services or to any personal or other information that you may provide to such third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policy for each website, application, and service you visit, use, or interact with.

 

 7. Retention of Collected Information

PeopleWorks will retain personal information for as long as it is needed for or otherwise serves the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, subject to applicable law. Further, personal information is retained in accordance with our policies and practices, applicable law, and contractual obligations.

Personal information collected for the purposes related to the performance of a contract or agreement between you and PeopleWorks will be retained until such contract or agreement has been fully performed. We may be required to retain personal information for a longer period of time where required to do so under applicable law or government order.

 

8. Accuracy and Security

Personal data you provide to us should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up to date.

We have in place reasonable and appropriate technical, physical, and organizational procedures and security measures designed to safeguard and secure personal information from unauthorized loss, alteration, access, disclosure, and processing, taking into account the cost of implementing such measures commensurate with the risks posed by the particular type of processing, the nature of the personal information, and in accordance with applicable law. We value your trust in providing us your information; however, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable. We cannot guarantee the security of Collected Information.

 

9. Children

The Website is not directed at children under 16 years of age. PeopleWorks does not knowingly collect or use information from children under 16 through the Website.

 

10. Exercise Your Rights

Only you or a registered agent (if and only as permitted under applicable law) that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. If you have a registered agent act on your behalf, we have the right to authenticate such agent’s authority to act. Without limiting the foregoing, the verifiable consumer request must:

Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request. We will respond to your request within the applicable timeframe required under applicable law
